ACHIEVEMENTS - 2014-15

  • Parth Sanghrajka , Siddhi Bhosale and Akshay Pai participated in a moot court competition held by K.C. Law College. Akshay Pai won the Best Speaker.
  • Akshay Pai , Uttam Dubey and Vanshaj Puri participated in the National Inter-collegiate Marathwada Mitra Mandal Shankarrao Chavan Law College’s, 2nd National Level Moot Court Competition. PES LAW COLLEGE stood 5th all over India. Akshay Pai won the ‘Best Advocate’ Award at National Level.
  • Sudhanva Bedekar, Nikhilesh Jain and Shriya Amin participated in parliamentary debate competition hosted by G. J. Advani college Of Law and won the runner up award. Sudhanwa Bedekar won the best speaker.
  • Abhishek Matkar, Arjun Kadam and Apoorva Thakre participated in and secured 2nd place Moot Court Competition hosted by V.E.S. Law College, in February, 2015
  • Akshay Pai and Siddhi Bhosale participated and qualified in the final round in Dr. P. W. Rege Moot Court Competition.
  • Uttam Dubey and Zil Dedhia participated in ‘ABHAY 2014′ hosted by Rajarshi Shahu College Of Law and won 1st place in Elocution Competition and 2nd place in Legal Story Board.
  • Mrunmayi Kotawadekar presented a paper on ‘Cyber Crimes’ and won ‘Best Presenter’ award at Narigursahni College of Law, in January, 2015.
  • Ujjwala Tripathi and Noni Joysar participated in Investigating Court Room Trial and won 1st prize in ‘Vividh fest’15’ hosted by Pravin Gandhi college of law
  • Juhilee Dalal participated in The Big Picture and won 1st prize in ‘Vividh fest’15’ hosted by Pravin Gandhi college of law

Our students participated in Drama Competitions:

  • Uttam Dubey ,Vanshaj Puri ,Siddhesh Rajput,Parth Sanghrajka, Siddhi Bhosale,Jhelam Phadke and Nikita Dharamshi participated in and won the 2nd prize at YFG, a skit competition conducted by NGO, Public Concern for Governance Trust.
  • Prasad Ghag, Sanad Desai, Amey Mahadik, Kaustubh Joshi, Apporva Thakre, Manoj Nevarekar, Prem Gada, Anushree Koparkar, Nikita Janvalkar,Indrajeet Salunke, Piyush Vora , Omkar Bhandarkar, Pranali Bole, Nikhil Kank, participated in Shantidoot ganeshutsav mandal. Prasad Ghag won the Best Writer and the Best Lights and Sanad Desai, the Best Actor.

Youth For Governance Competitions :

Youth for governance is the annual concluding function of PGCT, an NGO where First Year students have interned this year. The NGO is headed by Mr. Julio Rebeiro (Ex Comm. of Police), Dr. Ratna Mangotra, Mr. Narayan Verma (Former President of BCAS) and many more. They all are greatly focused on a clean governance for everybody in the country and want the youth to be a big part of it. Two students from our college, Apoorva Thakre and Arjun Kadam were chosen as panelist with Mr. Amir Khan, actor, director and producer at YFG’15 for a discussion on various topics like Education, AIB Roast, and Social Issues etc. The event was a great success.
